This first week has been very interesting and a massive eye opener to the course. The first project that I have been given is to find a stranger and illustrate their portrait and their characteristics by listening to the information in which they tell you. The person in whom I spoke to is an international student called Anthony. I jotted down his likes and dislikes, and gained a rough perception of his personality bye this. I then completed an illustration and presented it to the class. This was quite a nerve-racking experience as we are all yet to be introduced to one and other, but also an experience that was very helpful. Looking at all of the work that was presented throughout the day; a strong depiction of everyone’s illustration style was released to the class.
