narrative - a message that tells the particulars of an act or occurrence or course of events; presented in writing or drama or cinema or as a radio or television program; "his narrative was interesting." The brief to this project was to read six passages of Greek Mythology and to illustrate the narrative text. After deliberating what text to choose, I decided to pick that of Troilus and the death of Achilles. This was because I thought of more ways to illustrate this old text and to bring it in to the modern age with an inventive style of illustrating. We have to complete three illustrations that look at key parts of the story. Out of all three briefs this is my least favorite at first glimpse, but it will be an interesting challenge that will open my eyes to a new genre of illustration. NARRATIVE.
